  2. 2009, electric tuning forks made from discarded metal files

    Each of the tuning forks is driven by a small electro-magnet to produce a faint high pitched sound tuned to the pitch of the ringing in my ears. Imperceptile differences in the construcion and shape of them causes subtle mismatches in pitch and timbre. Forks that resonate in perfect compliment to one another amplify and each other and amplify one another without physical connection.
